Meet Our Jaguar Land Rover Bellevue Family – This Is Rachel

Rachel AbielmonaThis is Rachel Abielmona, one of the most recent additions to our spectacular Sales Consultant team at Jaguar Land Rover Bellevue. If you have visited our sister store, Jaguar Land Rover Seattle, you might recognize Rachel as she had been a Sales Consultant with them since 2012. Here at Jaguar Land Rover Bellevue our teammates are our family, and we fervently believe it is our people who are responsible for our store’s warm and inviting environment. This is why we are so pleased to have Rachel join us in Bellevue, as she is not only a stellar Sales Consultant but is also a testament to the brand motto of “Above and Beyond”. In this article we would like to introduce you to Rachel; who she is on and off the showroom floor.

So who is Rachel?

Born in Beirut, Lebanon and raised from the age of 4 in Fredericksburg, Virginia – Rachel became a local Washingtonian in 2009 and speaks both English and Arabic fluently. About 3 years after arriving in, and falling in love with, our glorious Pacific Northwest, Rachel began working in Jaguar and Land Rover sales at Jaguar Land Rover Seattle. Coming from a non-sales background of interior design, aesthetics, and being a restauranteur; Rachel’s initial success as a Sales Consultant didn’t come from prior experience alone. It derived from her amiable personality, love for the brands, and compassionate endeavor to go beyond the call of duty for her clients – three qualities that anyone who has worked with Rachel can surely testify to.

One question I asked Rachel, as we sipped tea in her office, was how she got in to luxury vehicle sales and what her favorite part of her job is? Rachel’s face lit up as she answered, “aside from my love for the brands, my favorite part is of course the customers, my clients”. She continued to explain that our customers are undoubtedly the most important people in the store, and sales people should be first and foremost concerned with finding the perfect car for the buyer and do so with the utmost consideration and care – whether their customer is in the market for a $5,000 or $150,000 purchase. Her genuine compassion and fondness for her clients was made very apparent as I sat there and watched smile after smile in pictures of happy customers, rotating in a slideshow on her desk.
Rachel AbielmonaAs for how Rachel got in to Jaguar and Land Rover sales, she told me she “fell into it”. In fact she was approached to become a sales consultant, and as a longtime owner of both brands she felt very comfortable endorsing and selling these extraordinary vehicles. However, receiving poor experience with sales people in the past as well as hearing stories in line with the car salesperson stereotype or colloquial cliché made her question whether she wanted to become a salesperson. This is partly why Rachel is so concerned with her customers experience and satisfaction. She wants to break any previous notions that new customers might have of buying a car, due to disappointing experiences they have had in the past. Rachel’s motto is that “… it’s not just about sales, but relationships. Coming from my heart, that’s how I feel”. Rachel also added that 4 years later, she is here at Jaguar Land Rover Bellevue, fortunate to be working with high caliber colleagues with a like-minded approach to sales. In short, she loves her job. So who is Rachel Abielmona outside of the showroom?

 

“My top priority”, Rachel says, “is my children”. Rachel is a mother of 4 children, 3 sons and a daughter. Considering the long hours that Jaguar Land Rover sales take up, Rachel likes to do anything she does in her spare time with her kids. “I do love sightseeing. There’s so many gorgeous places in Washington. I like to bike and I love to hike! My favorite hiking spot is Rattlesnake Ridge – it has an absolutely gorgeous, breath-taking view”. Rachel has three sons that are students at university, one attends VCU and the other two attend WSU. She has a 15 year old daughter in high school, who she loves spending time with on her days off – watching soccer and just doing “girl stuff”, as she put it. When Rachel talks about her kids, her face lights up. It’s easy to see where her drive, and compassion for her clients, comes from.
